Dr. Majeed Aloum

Consultant Reproductive Endocrinology Infertility/IVF, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Dr. Majeed Aloum completed his MD from Damascus University, Syria.

He was also awarded membership of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) from London UK in 1989.

He also holds a DGO/LM diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and License in Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

He is a Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

He has 28 years’ experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology / Reproductive Medicine and IVF with vast experience in procedures of assisted reproduction in UK, Syria and UAE including:

• Director of Nottingham University Research and Treatment Unit in Reproduction (NURURE)
• Lecturer / consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology / Reproductive Medicine at Queen’s medical Centre / university hospitals, Nottingham, United Kingdom

Core competencies: All aspects of fertility management and assisted reproduction with special interest in recurrent implantation failure, male infertility procedures including surgical sperm retrieval.
