Mike Macnamee, BSc,MSc,PhD

Mike Macnamee has over 20 years scientific and management experience in the field of infertility, rising through clinical embryology/endocrinology to replace Professor Robert Edwards as Scientific Director of Bourn Hall Clinic in 1991 and to General Manager in 2000. He has worked internationally in the research of reproductive drug development with over 60 peer reviewed published papers. Mike has extensive experience of giving both technical lectures and non-technical presentations to a broad range of audiences at worldwide conferences.

Mike's commitment to Bourn Hall's future was demonstrated by his excellent leadership of the Management Buy-Out team in achieving successful independence from its previous pharmaceutical parent at the end of 2005. Mike is currently Chief Executive of Bourn Hall Limited which he has been growing and developing in the UK, including the acquisition of an additional clinic in 2009. More recently, Mike has been appointed Chief Executive of Bourn Hall International and is passionate about bringing high quality fertility treatment to Bourn Hall International clinics spending considerable development time in the territories.

Karen Mohring

Karen Mohring has recently joined Bourn Hall Clinic Dubai as General Manager. Karen has over 22 years regional and global experience in both the private and public healthcare sectors. Karen is committed to delivering the highest level of medical expertise with an equally strong focus on customer service.
 
 

Dr David Robertson

Dr David Robertson graduated from the University of Glasgow, UK in 1977 and, following initial training in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology, has specialized in Reproductive Medicine since 1986. After working with Professor Ian Craft, one of the early pioneers in IVF treatment, he ran his own fertility clinic in the UK until 2003. He has previously been Head of IVF at Hamad Hospital, Doha and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Weill-Cornell Medical School in Qatar; from 2006 – 2010, he was Director of IVF at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain.

Dr Robertson is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK and a certified trainer with the British Fertility Society; he is a member of ASRM, ESHRE and MEFS.
