Dr. Brendan Ball – MSc, PHD, DipRCPath
Dr. Brendan completed his primary degree, masters and PhD at the National University of Ireland, Galway. His early training was undertaken at Galway Fertility Unit in Ireland where he spent nine years as a senior Clinical Embryologist.
Dr. Brendan helped establish the first fertility clinic in Ireland offering genetic screening of embryos BeaconCARE Fertility, having previously worked as Scientific Director and Lead Embryologist at London Fertility Centre on Harley Street. In 2006, his experience was recognised with state registration from the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), in 2008 he was one of the first to qualify with ESHRE as a European Senior Clinical Embryologist and, later that year, was accepted for diplomat membership of the Royal College of Pathologists.
Dr. Brendan Ball joined Bourn Hall Fertility Clinic in October 2015 to take up the position of Laboratory Director, from his previous position in Sims IVF in Ireland. He is an experienced ICSI and Embryo Biopsy practitioner. He is passionate about getting the best results possible for his patients.
